PR (Pretty / Public Relations) positions are the most widely available nightlife jobs across Thailand. The core appeal is the relaxed, friendly 'Sanook' (fun) working atmosphere without rigid rules or strict table formalities.
Daily responsibilities center on welcoming guests, friendly conversation, playing casual bar games (dice, board games, connect four), and sharing drinks. Primary income comes from Lady Drink commissions (ดื่ม) + customer tips plus guaranteed daily pay for regular staff.
You do not need to be a heavy drinker. Venues and guests fully support ordering soft drinks (soda, water, or energy drinks) as lady drinks, and experienced floor managers ('Mama-sans') are always there to support you.
Important Advice: In Thailand's nightlife scene, the title 'PR' can span a wide range of venue formats. Some venues focus purely on table conversation and drinks, while certain clubs and lounges may involve dancing lightly to music to hype up the party. We recommend inquiring with venue managers via LINE about venue style, dress codes, and duties before applying.
